Airshaft Rubber Round Hose

An Airshaft Rubber Tube (also called an Inflatable bladder, Air bladder, or Expansion tube) is the core rubber component installed inside an air expansion shaft.

When compressed air is supplied through the air valve, the tube inflates and pushes the keys/lugs outward, gripping the paper core securely.

Function

Inflates when air is supplied.
Expands the keys or leaves on the shaft.
Holds paper, film, foil, textile, or laminate rolls.
Deflates when air is released for easy roll removal.

What materials are used for your Airshaft Rubber Tubes, and why?

Our expandable airshaft tubes are primary components for multi-bladder and lug-type shafts. They are manufactured using highly elastic, premium synthetic rubber blends designed to withstand repetitive inflation and deflation cycles without tearing, stretching, or structural warping.

Please provide the following metrics for an exact match:

  • Inner Diameter (ID) and Outer Diameter (OD) when uninflated.
  • Wall Thickness (typically ranging from 3 mm to 7.5 mm).
  • Overall Profile (e.g., flat rubber tubes for multi-tube shafts vs. perfectly round bladders)

Yes, we provide Air valves of sizes. You can place order for it along with the airshaft.
